The following video is a from an education conference where speaker Sir Ken Robinson discusses how our public education system stunts creativity in our children. It is somewhat enlightening and definitely funny. The humor alone is worth watching. Enhancing creativity in public schools is going to take time, therefore in the interim you as a parent must foster your child’s creativity through other means whether it is giving your child access to creative tools (crayons, markers, paint, glitter, stamps, instruments, ingredients for paper mache etc…) around the house or enrolling them in more formal classes, camps or private lessons.
